Dr. Ashutosh Prabhu Dessai is a consultant in Mental Health and Counselling.He is a specialist in psychological, academic, marital, sexual, substance use disorders , child - adolescent problems, trauma & abuse, homosexuality and gender related issues.  Dr Dessai is also a psychotherapist providing  family therapy, marital & sex therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy,  hypnotherapy etc. as well as rehabilitation . He presently practises in Panaji, Goa.

Dr. Dessai recently worked in New Zealand as  a Consultant Psychiatrist and is Assistant Professor in Psychiatry in Institute of Psychiatry & Human Behaviour under auspices of Goa Medical College .He is also a fellow of the Indian Psychiatric Society, member of World Psychiatric Association  and Indo Australasian Psychiatry Association.
